From hands-on optical illusions to walking through the Vortex Tunnel and Mirror Maze, there is endless hours of fun to be had.
You can even enjoy a spectacular 360 degree view of Edinburgh in all its glory from the Rooftop Terrace after you have explored all the World Of Illusions has to offer.

Longhaven Cliffs Nature Reserve
Longhaven Cliffs are just one of over 100 nature reserves across Scotland. It offers stunning views of the sea, with chances to see seabird colonies, caves and blossoming wildflowers. If you’re lucky, you may even catch a sight of seals taking a break on the rocks below.
Depending on what you wish to see when you visit the cliffs, you may have to visit a specific time in the year. For example, if you are wanting to catch a glimpse of some seabirds and plants, it is advised that you visit from May to August. However, if you are just coming for the immaculate views and coastal geology, then you are welcome to come all year round.

National Museum of Scotland
The National Museum of Scotland is one of the UK’s most popular tourist attractions outside of London. It offers a year-round programme of temporary exhibitions, meaning that you can come at different points in the year and have a totally different experience.
This is a great place to visit if you are interested in discovering more about Scotland’s history as well as its nature, science, art, design and much more.
It is free to enter the museum, and on select days there are amazing events for families.

Edinburgh Castle
Labelled as ‘one of the most exciting historic sites in Western Europe’, Edinburgh Castle is the ideal place to go if you want a real history lesson with amazing sights.
There is such an interesting and complex history to this skyline fortress, including the fact that the oldest part of the castle, St Margaret’s Chapel, dates back to the 12th century. You can also explore The Great Hall, which was commissioned by James IV in 1510. These are just a couple of the many other interesting facts you can find out on your visit.

Tennent’s Brewery Tour
Listen up beer lovers! Get yourself down to Tennent’s Brewery this holiday and book yourself a spot on their coveted tour. The tour will show you how your favourite drink is brewed as well as the history that comes with it. You can also book on to one of Tennent’s masterclasses.
This building was opened in 2018 to allow people to get more acquainted with the lager, however the award-wining brewing process has been around since 1885.
Entry to the brewery is free, but there is a fee to join the tour.
