Botanic Gardens

Just a few minutes from Southport Centre is Southport’s Botanic Gardens. Originally opened in 1874, these Victorian gardens are bursting with bright and colourful displays. Through the gardens is a lake and plenty of paths for visitors to enjoy a leisurely walk. Plus, there’s a café, gift shop and aviary.

Model Railway Village

Lower Promenade, Kings Gardens, Southport

This attraction is ideal for kids, particularly if they have a love of trains. Many spend the day fascinated by these machines and wander around enchanted by the model village. Adults can sit back and relax in the café, which has lovely tea gardens and take in the views. There are also plenty of places to picnic and a gift shop for visitors who wish to take a piece of the adventure home.
