Bournemouth is home to the globally renowned Jurassic Coastline World Heritage Site, a 95-mile (153 km) area of outstanding fossil localities and stunning rock and cliff formations, including the famous arched Durdle Door. As a monument of the Earth's history, the Jurassic Coast is a fantastic display of geology and environmental change. There are also museums which run along the coast for visitors to make the most of.
