We welcome dogs at the Royal Hull Hotel, and there are a range of facilities nearby to help ensure pets are kept happy throughout their stay. We allow one pet per room.

Hotel facilities

Owners should take care to bring their own items for their pet, such as a dog bed and dog bowl. We do not provide these items. We can also assist them in finding nearby places to purchase items for their pet. Dogs are welcome in all areas of the hotel apart from dining areas, as long as they are well-behaved and on a leash. Pets are allowed in our Annexe rooms, but not our signature suites. Please read our full  terms and conditions for more information.

Reconverted from a former sports centre, this one-of-a-kind indoor dog park is every pet owner’s dream. Not only can dogs roam freely off a lead, but they will also find plenty of other pets to play with, all thoroughly temperament-checked before admission. Owners, too, can mingle with like-minded people, making for a great experience for pet and human alike.

East Park

Hull’s largest park is dog friendly to the point where it has dedicated dog routes and lanes, which pooches and owners can follow as they make their way around the park. With plenty of grassy and leafy areas to enjoy together, East Park provides a great day out for both owners and pets.

The Station is perhaps the most dog-friendly pub in Hull, offering not only treats, but also chew toys for man’s best friend. Dogs are allowed free roam in the beer garden, and are also welcome in the inner areas of the pub, as long as they are kept on a lead.

The Sailmaker’s Arms

Located in the Hull high street, within walking distance of our hotel, the Sailmaker’s Arms is a great place for owners to relax and enjoy a drink or snack in the courtyard, while their pets become acquainted with four-legged resident Toby the Labrador.
